This thing where people conflate prescribed drugs for diagnosed mental health conditions with recreational drugs is infuriating. Sure, me starting lexapro six years ago has lead to a “cascade” of other diagnoses and medications, but there are in fact many weird things going on in my brain!

To be fair, they basically are meth. That said, when *I* take my legally prescribed meth I don’t get crazy, I sit down and calmly read my backlog of emails.

If it’s really the case that lying about immigration to median voters will help pro-immigration Dems win, great! But you need to 1. demonstrate that the idiots voting will buy it, and then 2. do the thing after the public statement gets you into power.
