Walking on Central Park West, someone on roller blades knocks in to me. They stop to apologize. I look up to say it's not a problem and it's Rick Moranis. He was very kind. He was roller blowing with his kids, this is when he'd left the spotlight after his wife's death to focus on his family.

Sometimes I sit with the darkness of this time we're in. I'm not paralyzed or in despair, exactly. But I stay still with it for maybe 10-15 minutes, in the eye of the storm, I guess. My mind has decided it's important to do that, so I listen.

My friend is making a movie. Everything she has done since I met her (cough, cough) more than 25 years ago has pushed boundaries and been wildly entertaining. I ask that you consider throwing a few dollars into this project.
