The Brutalist is confounding. The first 7/10, 215 minute movie where the runtime wasn’t even an issue. To quote Peter Griffin, “It insists upon itself.” It’s got interesting ideas, the epilogue payoff was 👌🏾👌🏾, but it feels like movie that’s convinced of its own importance by virtue of existing.

I’ve been playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and I have so many (mostly positive!) thoughts. It’s just…so weird. Both as a game and a Ubisoft product.
