Today at church I talked about the narrow door from Luke 13. In the end, we talked about how everyone can fit through the door not until we let go of our hate, pride, legalism, etc. In the end, I asked everyone to consider what they needed to let go?

The scariest part is they’ve not only convinced half of our country to stay asleep, but they also convinced them to make fun of those who have chosen to wake up—as if being awake is a bad thing. #woke #mark1333

A website for SBC abuse reform, which SBC leaders called “historic” when it was launched in 2023, includes a link to the Ministry Check database, which remains blank.
Abuse database is no longer a priority for Southern Baptist leaders
(RNS) — Southern Baptist leaders said they will focus on training churches to use already available databases.

Life as neurodiverse.
On the one hand, I need to mask in order for people to like me. I’m talking about small talk, eye contact, and all the microjudgements when i fail
On the other hand, I know that for people to love me, I need to unmask. I’m taking about authenticity, vulnerability, honesty.

Thanks, and shout out to the Ohio Newsroom for recording a story on the Ohio Writers' Association's newest anthology, "Should this Book Be Banned?" The story is scheduled to air on March 6th on local NPR stations in Ohio, like WOSU Public Media.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Just look at these paragraphs from the AP story.

Hegseth called Brown unqualified solely because he's Black. Then they fired him... and replaced him with a white guy so indisputably unqualified that he requires a Presidential waiver.

This is what "merit" means to them.

This is my Good Samaritan cartoon that was originally a commission for someone. I love it so much and conveys a lot of what I believe is good. (Prints available!)

Someone want to commission me to do a trans version of this, especially for these times, I've got some time for it.

Much love to you!

One of my saddest but truest cartoons.

Some say I cause more division by pointing out the division.

As if burying our heads in the sand makes the problem go away.

It doesn't for those suffering! Right?

Let's be bold! See the problem, acknowledge it, voice it, then fix it!

-FAA, which oversees SpaceX

-USAID, which probed Starlink

-CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X.

"Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.
