Weirdly I actually felt really confident today. Liverpool had, what, 1 shot on target, when we were 3 up? First time I've been that confident all season!

Also highlights some of the issues with leasehold/UK property law. It's not the same, but we have an indemnity for our Manchester house due to 'rentcharge', which other unscrupulous types have used to hold home owners to ransome (in that instance, legally)...

Ha! Funnily enough, in my football WhatsApp chat was talking about how German fans seem different to English fans, in not actually *watching* the game, it's just a big communal sing song. Which, fair enough, who doesn't love a bit of a drink and a sing. But... Could they not also watch the game?

Our Desmond did both - an unknown amount of time as a stray eating out of bins somewhere in Oldham, then taken in by a local cat shelter, and now with us! (Alongside his best mate Vinny, who by being born in the shelter went straight into the "being treated like a little baby" category)
