Would I ever choose to watch Goldeneye on a streaming service? No. But it's on ITV!

Bugonia is irritatingly good. I don't even think I wanted to like such a sparkly film after gritty Dragonfly, but it pulled me in. The score, the quirkiness... and how satisfying and deliciously perverse it was to make us enjoy the fantasy of their conspiracy in that way.

Dragonfly is a marvellous film with a sharp story, tone-shifting score, interesting photography and great performances. No idea why it's called Dragonfly though.

Okay so you can escape Making Tax Digital if you are “a practising member of a religious society or order, whose beliefs are incompatible with using digital communications or keeping digital records”. So the question is who wants to start a religion

Post-theatre food at Phoenix Palace, accommodating us close to 10pm, what a treat. That place was more of a production than the show. And delicious.

It's been a bit of a battle to keep videography going at the Garden lately, but am overwhelmed by support from colleagues, friends and family. So grateful. If you enjoy the trailers and q and a's, please make it known!

By chance I got to hear speeches at a Grierson event last night, almost cried that the word 'nuance' was used to talk about public service broadcasting. I so admire people who walk the talk re diversity, mentorship, and public broadcasting not as a platform for themselves but as a calling. 🙏🏻✨

I've been thinking about this a lot and i think fundamentally, arts orgs I'm looking at you - inclusivity and political alignment are mutually exclusive. You cannot subscribe to a political project and be an inclusive organisation unless there's explicit and ongoing consensus.

The main surprising way that chat gpt is dumb to me is that it doesn't know what time it is. It will tell me i 'asked a great question tonight ' at 11am. Even in its idiocy it feels evil and terrible.

Constantly amazed about how dumb chat gpt is. If you ask it to analyse data, it doesn't weight the results!? If you point it out it's like 'ahh well spotted!'

1/6 There’s so much talk about getting disabled people with mental health conditions or neurodiversity into work, but not enough about making sure jobs that are suitable for them and don’t make them more unwell

Take me, for example

At 18 I tried to work in Morrisons on the checkouts

Those tedious and mysteriously funded transphobes want to limit access to the Ponds so I’ve had a pleasant 10 mins filling this out on why seeing a variety of women is magic and judging by what people look like or can do is very slippery territory hampstead-heath-bathing-ponds.commonplace.isn

Sorry unless I've got this wrong... as a freelancer, the govt wants me to buy accounting software at (it recommended only one using its software finder tool which is £135/month) and send it FOUR updates a year, instead of my usual tax return, as part of Making Tax Digital. Is that right?

3. this is not the moment for an incredibly expensive increase in state surveillance infrastructure to be run for profit by private tech firms just before Labour ushers in an (even more) authoritarian right wing government.
