I have this odd theory that if the TV announcers can pronounce Syracuse correctly, they generally have more in-depth knowledge on the overall SU team that’s playing.

This rando lady is holding up a $100 billion private investment in CNY based on a signed contract from 2005. I do think what she is doing (in principal) is profound but alas futile. Eminent domain, if the county implements it and it probably will, is an unstoppable beast.

Field goal range is getting batty now with 60+ yarders are becoming norm. I do wonder if the NFL will make a scoring rule change on it soon or down the road.

I’ve given the movie Vertigo (1958) a few attempts but I just can’t get into it. The plot is too bizzare for my tastes. I will say the music is great (title sequence and first act mostly) and the cinematography is top notch. I mean these visuals are just 🤌

Starting up the John Carpenter double feature for tonight. Both of these clock in at about 1.5 hrs. I kind of wish that runtime was still more common.
