'I'll sleep when I'm dead' is a short poem which attempts to crystalise some of my childhood memories, and sepcifically of my chilldhood garden, into something tangible - like a little diorama. #poetry #blutoid #books

This month the Xbox 360 turned 20! I loved my 360 so much. Played some great games on it; Oblivion, Bioshock 1&2, Fallout 3 & NV, and of course Dark Souls! It’s one of the most immersive games I’ve ever played. While it’s all quite familiar now, it felt so obscure and impenetrable at the time!

I learned today about gall wasps, an insect I had no idea about. I have definitely seen these galls before but assumed they were seeds I guess 🤷♂️ (picture from the rhs site)

This website has really detailed maps for both The Forgotten Realms and Krynn, which is helpful as a newbie (and FR enjoyer) starting to read the Dragon Lance Chronicles. These are some extremely large literary maps!

I randomly got this Fire Emblem game for a tenner on an unnamed auction site. I’ve never played a Fire Emblem game before but I love strategy games and this one looks interesting. It has an English Translation so I might give it a go next year :) #blutoid #fireemblem

Just finished reading Kadare’s Spring Flowers, Spring Frost. I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as the densely atmospheric Broken April, but it had some interesting moments. My lack of knowledge in Albanian politics couldn’t have helped, but it felt meandering and much, much looser #blutoid #books

There is such a thing as an Etrian Odyssey IV Drama CD. I don’t speak Japanese so can’t understand it lol but it uses sound effects and music from the game, which is extremely cute! m.soundcloud.com/blind_cloud/...
