Credit to Blanchet for making the (extremely obvious but generally ignored) point that a new oil pipeline completed sometime in the 2030s is not, whatever the case for it otherwise, an entirely coherent response to the Trump presidency.

This made me laugh. Trump is so disconnected he doesn't know that we all use the word 'groceries' still, it's not an old timey term that's been replaced. It's pretty funny to hear T talk about what he thinks groceries are www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NKB...

What exactly are Americans being liberated from this #LiberationDay?
I wonder what percentage of Americans know that they are the ones that have to pay the tariffs not the exporting country 🤔

Canadians deserve real energy solutions that protect people & the planet.

Expanding fossil fuel infrastructure is not in the best interest of Canadians. New pipelines will bring nothing but high costs and risks to local communities. 🙅

We need affordable, reliable, renewable energy now. 💪☀️

Holy moly! This has gotta be the biggest swing in public opinion polling ever! After 2 years of consistent projections of a CPC majority, this week the most probable outcome is a Liberal majority followed by a Liberal minority.
Conservative majority is less than 1% if an election was held today! 🤞

Call on PM Carney to champion a transformative, nation-building project that takes the climate emergency seriously: a publicly owned, renewable powered east-west electricity grid that provides the country with secure electricity, while lowering electricity bills.

Pretty clear at this stage of capitalism that the trickle down ain't trickling down. Richest man on the planet bought the US presidency & guts support for the most poor and at-risk people among us and strips them of basic human rights. It's evil.
Breaks my heart anyone supports that

@cbcstephenquinn.bsky.social I haven’t heard others in the news talking about the fact that it’s the US who’s responsible for what goes in to that country at the border. Thank you! Why isn’t that part of the border convo about fentanyl?
