This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

At #COP30, we’re seeing dangerous techno-fixes being positioned as “solutions” to climate & biodiversity crises. Carbon markets under Article 6 are opening doors to risky experiments to enter mainstream discourse.

🚨New analysis: States are flouting their legal duties re. #NDCs.

With only 64 NDCs (roughly ⅓ of countries) in at #COP30, few polluters on target, & many major emitters’ plans missing, the world is failing to prevent harm & keep warming below 1.5°C.

I am joyful today, but also well aware of what we are up against next. Part of this awareness is to not fall for whatever spin the GOP and the GOP-controlled media will try to put on last night's election. You saw it with your own eyes. Do not believe what they are going to tell you you saw.
The next 12 months will be the most consequential for American politics since the 1850s. I don't say that glibly. We warned what would happen and they've done it and more. It appears we still have free elections, and so now they will now throw everything they have at us, a fascist kitchen sink.
