When I began my transition 5 years ago, I knew that there would be places in the world forever closed to me because of who I am. I honestly did not, in my wildest dreams, imagine that the UK would be one of them, let alone imagine that happening under a Labour government.

If I have learned nothing else recently it's that cis people claiming allyship have been waiting to gleefully do a transphobia at the first opportunity. They're all telling us that they see our identities as still being conditional upon their approval.

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

BREAKING: I have seen confirmation that the indefinite puberty blocker ban for trans kids that was passed by the NI Executive yesterday will be UK-wide. It will come into effect on January 1 2025 when the temporary ban expires.

I think one of the reasons many cis men can hate us so much is that we know what they say when they don't think women are in the room and they're afraid that we'll share it.

I really hate the notion of "for the time it was groundbreaking" when it comes to trans casting.
It's not about the quality of the story or acting, casting a cis man as a trans woman is always harmful. Gen X grew up on this, look what they are doing to our rights. It's not representation.
