Got shit done at work today. Things finally clicked for me when it comes to a couple of new technologies I’ve had to learn.

This is actually scary. If we are all gonna now have to be afraid that the team who runs this site, with hundreds of thousands of followers combined, highlighting individual users to make an example of in their “social media should be nicer” campaign then we are all at risk.

Nearly every one of my recent posts deals with the enshittification of nearly all technology - by companies only motivated by a share price no longer dictated by the value their products nor the qty of units sold, but by speculative BS that at best, is based on PR, at worst, market manipulation.

Cannot turn the screen off an LG OLED and only listen to audio whilst the YouTube app is open.

I feel consolation from the silver lining that the ad algorithm doesn’t know me enough to not show it to me - the data they have on me absolutely fucking sucks and that’s beautiful.
Still grossed out by it though.
