This list has amused me for years.

Today is Nov 11. Today is for those who lost their lives.

This poem is specifically referring to the British Expeditionary Force which fought and held back the Germans in 1914, in the Battle of the Marne, denying the Germans an easy and fast victory.

For the 8 page thing, where you cut the inside two parts? I do this with scissors, if it's just a couple, and blade&ruler if it's several.

I #AmWriting but I have a question about debt. I need a debt that'll last past the death of the person who incurred it. I'm postulating a large loan (?) taken out against a trust (with three other living members). It's the background set-up for a trilogy.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Moar #drabble fun.

Another two, with the same prompt. This time, it's a two-drabble story.

This is a list of the covers I've purchased. Ocean City & Vineyard are actively in process. I'm world building Crowns, Big Cats & Fire Walker. JAFF are outlined.

This should keep me busy through next year, right?

#drabble

This one's maybe sadder?

#drabble Drabble time again. This time, a pair of drabbles based on the prompt: 'an escaped experiment/test subject trying to restore the memory of another subject'

Moar #drabble fun. The same prompt (a silent house by the sea), but a very different feeling.

I (finally) #AmWriting

Back on my drabbling. I really should make sure I keep doing these. They're always fun and always pull me into more writing.

100 words. The prompt was 'something set in a silent house by the sea'.

Oh man, that's spectacular. I love it. I painted my home office in fuchsia and denim.

I just bought a Whole Store Pack of mini fine art cross stitch patterns and discovered that this set includes one of my favorite pieces. I'll have to make it twice, once with the standard caption and once with the one that makes me giggle myself into fits.

This is the one I giggle at.

My husband got me one of these, and because I'm under 5 feet tall (yes, really), it goes down to my ankles. It's a MARVEL. I'm instantly warmer as soon as I put it on. I got one for him, as well, but he's over 6 feet tall, so his only goes to his hips.

I just put mine on and the relief is intense.

One of the MCs of a book I'll be working on in the next three months is a grocery store manager. He's working his way up to regional manager, because he hates the current one and knows he'd be better at the job.

Here's the cover; there's a toddler who needs a set of married parents, so...

My office. Yes, that's hot fuchsia on three walls and denim blue on one wall. It's such a happy room to be in.

Breakfast. (Soufflé omelet)

The character's name is Kay. She says fuck. She's 45, a single mom (with a deadbeat ex) of a teenage daughter, she just learned that she has magical abilities and that the recent spate of murders are killer vampires.

She can say fuck. She's an adult.

I unironically LOVE this review.
