Journal for the Measurement of Physical Behaviour
@jmpbjournal.bsky.social
Peer-reviewed research about fundamental measurement problems related to the use and application of device-based technology to assess physical behaviors.
We are seeking our next Editor to take over for Prof. Charlotte Edwardson in July 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to help define our relatively young field and lead a journal that now has its Impact Factor. For more details, please see:

🔍 How consistent are activPAL algorithm updates?

A new study compared CREA vs. GHLA algorithms w/ 6,038 days & 350 adults:
✅ 24 of 29 posture/activity metrics were equivalent within 3%
📈 Correlations: r = .97–1.00
Great news for for cross-study comparisons!
