Just saw an older marathoner who everyone was praising, and although that was a very cool accomplishment, the comments were horrible. It is a great privilege to have a body healthy enough to perform at that level—at any age. Many of us have had that taken away.

I had psychiatrists try to tell me that my physical issues were mental health-related. Surprise! It was an autoimmune disease. Keep advocating for yourself. You know your body. ❤️
