Always good to be sus. I personally have accepted the Kantian idea that there’s no such thing as an unselfish act, even if I hate it. Regarding politicians - I think We might all just be little kids wanting our leaders to pretend to love us.

All of those things might well be true. Is the information correct or incorrect? Have the supported candidates won or lost? If they have mostly lost, why do we think that is? It feels like we need to argue the why

Rare for a public poll, we did a survey experiment to test whether priming respondents about the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia impacts support for Trump's broader immigration agenda. It does. Support for blanket deportations fell 20 points after hearing about Garcia's case.
