Trump & Republicans want to make devastating cuts to SNAP—a total of $230 billion over the next 10 years.

They want to rip food away from our babies & vulnerable families.

I’m joining @projectbread.org to call out this cruelty and fight back.

Lawmakers can't cut $230B from #SNAP w/o slashing benefits, restricting eligibility, or a combo of both. Regardless of how they enact a cut of this magnitude, it would slash over 20% from #SNAP, which helps over 40M ppl, incl. 1 in 5 kids, afford food. www.cbpp.org/research/foo...

On Feb. 19, President Donald Trump signed an executive order targeting access to federally funded health and social services for undocumented individuals. This executive order comes straight out of the current playbook designed to invoke fear and discourage people from seeking support.
