Let me add to this, it gets worse. I followed WP's link to the actual policy. While it still states that Confederate flags "shall be removed" if found, for swastikas, nooses, and other symbols, they "may" be removed now at the discretion of the commanders in consultation with legal office. 1/2
They actually went ahead with this at a moment when antisemitism is rising.

It really irritates me that the media is framing the Ukraine "peace deal" as a choice between "dignity" and peace. Ukrainians are fighting for their lives and their freedom as a people. They are not just some prideful peacock strutting around trying to impress onlookers.

This sounds reasonable but is 100% wrong. Whether you or agree or disagree with a study is completely immaterial. What matters is whether the study was conducted properly and generates valid results. And it's impolitic to say but it's true: you have to have some level of expertise to judge that.
