What a wonderful mess.
So many weird adaptation choices. Utterly fascinating. Beauty and the beast callouts with Mia goth as the belle/elizabeth/mary Shelly standin was great.
I like that it wasn’t so much an adaptation of the novel as a dialogue with it. #frankenstien

OMG!
I read online that the publisher of Mark Danielewski’s new novel Tom‘s Crossing issued 26 signed “wasp” copies that feature a dead wasp!!!
I was looking through our copies at the store and OMG!!!!😱

I finally got a look at the TSwift fascist ss necklace everyone has been talking about. And yeah. That is defiantly a thing the "big bad" racist sun elves in my D&D campaign would sport. I'm incorporating it into the campaign. I wonder if my Highschool-aged players will recognize it.

I’ve been doing some research, and it seems the revolutionary movement in Paul Thomas Anderson’s movie One Battle After Another, #TheFrench75 is named after a 75mm French artillery piece, which was also the inspiration for the cocktail of the same name.

For novel length Piccirilli try Hexes, or A Choir of Ill Children (One of which I had the honor of publishing in hardcover, so I may be biased.)

It’s been 30 years since I picked up this collection & became a forever-fan of Tom Piccirilli.
This collection of Pic n Self stories found their way out of a long-closed box & into my hand last month & time is right for a re-read. Happy spooky season.

A very fun October read. Well , fun might not be the way to describe it. Grim and unrelenting? But I think you get what I mea…. perfect for the season.
