An jedem Mittagstisch, zu jeder Familienfeier, am Grill und im Freibad braucht es UNS, die Gegenrede halten und ächten.

Aktuell werden eifrig LinkedIn-Accounts gelöscht und Insta-Profile auf privat gestellt aber letztlich weiß man doch, was mit den Sylt-Faschos passieren wird: gar nichts. Papa wird ein wenig schelten, dann kommt ein teurer Anwalt, der gegen den vorgeht, der die Aufnahmen anfertigte und das war's.

Good News! Canada is taking steps in the right direction and is increasing funding for grad students and postdocs.
It might be a bit late to affect my PhD, but at least the prospect of staying in Canada for a postdoc feels less like financial self-harm.
