School librarian here…my 15 year old’s freshman ELA class read Animal Farm this year. She saw this quote on a list somewhere and had to do it!! Great turnout in Galesburg, IL!!

#NoKingsProtest in Galesburg, IL!! A blue dot in red country. Teenagers first protest 👊🏻 As a librarian, I was so happy to hear the freshman English classes read Animal Farm this year. So I lovedddd my teen’s sign!! An organizer said it was 3-4x the size of their normal weekend protest crowds. Woo!
