a lot has been made of the fact that younger voters don’t view Trump as “abnormal” because he has dominated the scene for their entire political lives
that’s true but it swings both ways, “only centrism can save you” isn’t compelling to those people

A lot of new voters, especially the 18-24 year olds who showed up in NYC, are not shaken by propaganda that was even effective on millennials. A lot of their first political experiences were getting brutalized by cops for opposing genocide, under dem leadership. The old guard is nothing to them.
