Really tough call between Control and Disco Elysium. Control is the perfect mix of Twin Peaks weirdness while also making me feel like I'm playing a Jean Grey solo adventure.

But man, DE has some GOAT level writing and characters. Few games have left such an enduring mark. Impossible to decide.
Quote this with what you would have said your game of the year was at the end of 2019, and what you would say your favourite game of 2019 is now, if it differs

Hoping I can keep watching Benoit Blanc solving mysteries for as long as possible

What a dream it'd be to see this replicated everywhere
Cities are better without cars

#Pluribus I can only aspire to the levels of hate from Manousos Oviedo.

Moving to a remote job makes every interaction with a car more and more irritating. It really is a shame that my city is so car-dependent.

The way the hype absolutely left my body when the final trailer looked like the most generic hero shooter
i stand by this statement every year

Absolute Batman fucking rules. Every issue is crazy. Generational run!

Currently playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been such a fun experience. Will probably watch the original trilogy right after finishing the DLC.

Only Expedition 33 has been a better gaming experience this year.

How am I supposed to deal with every new Deniz Camp comic? What did we do to deserve Assorted Crisis Events, Ultimates and Absolute Martian Manhunter?

Also, full credit to Zawadzki, Frigeri, Javier Rodriguez and the rest of he incredible art teams. Every comic looks better than the last.

Media I'm currently spending time with:
- Senlin Ascends (Book 1 of The Books of Babel series)
- The first Ace Attorney trilogy

I had missed getting this engrossed in a book, it's been a while.

Andor is perhaps the best and most thoughtful piece of Star Wars media ever. It is by far my favorite, and has broken into my top 5 TV shows ever. Glad to have been part of this journey from the start, especially after seeing Rogue One on opening weekend way back when.

BEACH HOUSE!!!
I’m playing Lost Records: Bloom & Rage right now, and it’s pretty cool! Still, it's not the original Life is Strange, which everyday feels more and more like the devs captured lightning in a bottle.

After this: Clair Obscure: Expedition 33!

Whoever designed my Thinkpad has to be left-handed, or an idiot. Who else puts a heat vent pointing towards where 90% of people put their mouse?
