there is a certain strain of progressive that spends far too much time on the internet and not enough time speaking to normal people who have normal jobs and run businesses and it really fuckin shows sometimes. their sense of perspective and understanding has just been sandblasted away.

Anyone who takes the time to master the mechanics of a game should be able to overcome any challenge with skill alone.
And I would even dare say this applies to all difficulty levels that you can select too.
But if fights are a chore or impossible because of raw numbers. It's bad design.

The static effect pausing when the player is not moving is so jarring to me.
I know it's supposed to represent the light revealing off of the environment but light itself is naturally in constant motion.
This looks super sick though I wanna make something like this.
