I could have worded that post better

to clarify, courtenay place is an excellent place for cycling infrastructure.

There are some places that are less well suited to cycling infrastructure

I'm a cyclist, I love protected cycleways, I think we should have more of them!

I also think some stretches of road are not as well suited to protected cycleways as, say, Courtenay Place is

Thanks Ben. As a big supporter of cycle lanes, there's 2 points ppl on all sides of debate could acknowledge:

1. Though much of Welly is well suited for cycling infra, some parts simply aren't

2. Buses will, til we get trains (the 22nd century) we need buses as core priority of our transport infra

See you there in July mate

Browser or acid?

Either way, big loss

Or at least, I'm LESS tempted to waste away in bed on a beautiful Sunday morning looking on my phone haha

I get the best of both worlds; the best TikToks and reels Will escape their natural homes and find me through other means, without having the temptation of "hmm, I've got 5 minutes to spare, let's turn that into 'look at screen time' "

Goddamn British NIMBYs forcing me to pay ~900 pounds a week for a shoebox room
February 16, 2025 at 3:31 AM
Haha I'm certainly not original - just been accepted for a UK youth mobility visa, moving in July

London is hella tempting, but Bristol, Edinburgh, parts of Greater Manchester also seem sick

God I have so much unsolicited medical advice I shouldn't offer legally. But I will say that Nasalcrom is an OTC allergy spray that has almost no drug interactions and stablizes Mast cells. Many people with long covid have found it life changing and it's low risk.

I'm watching it from home and I'm sad I'm not there - what a free kick by Fraser!!

Seems to be fairly blatant disregard of the OIA - s9 of the Act says withholding is only allowed if the rationale is not outweighed by the public interest.

There's enormous public interest in knowing if a police officer is being reprimanded for, effectively, manslaughter

Really silly policy, as you've pointed out.

Do you think it would engage s14 or s17 of the Bill of Rights?

To be fair, they are already paid to (attempt to) score tries!

Springboks ABs will be an amazing final for anyone to watch

I'm not necessarily a fan of Reti, but to be clear - if/when he formally becomes Minister of Health, he absolutely will be asked to sell them by the Cabinet Office.

If he doesn't sell them, THEN it's a problem
