Getting an early taste of autumn in Wales, which means I'm probably less than 4-6 weeks from breaking out the kotatsu again. Anyway, he's a pic of my staffy when she was just a puppy and the kotatsu was her personal security blanket if I wasn't around.

Not furry in the typical sense, but my series has a talking pangolin, polar bear, and an anthropomorphic orca. as secondary and tertiary characters mostly humans tho. Some aliens are furry/scaly (The cover from below is book 4. Pls don't start with that one if you decide to give the series a shot)

This made me think of Prince of Persia 2 and how disappointed I was that I couldn't just run around the deserted island you wash up on after the prologue and have fun. PoP2 was a great game though.

Gonna go ahead and plug my own work. There's danger and set-backs, yeah, but the tone is optimistic and it's about making something actually good out of a problem rather than merely seeking the status quo. There's also combat hugging and a talking pangolin that people seem to like.

That one time back in 2019 I tried to do a spoopy photo like @slimyswampghost.bsky.social 's style. Definitely made me appreciate how talented/skilled that guy is at making his work seem so casually creepy. #horror #horrorart
