You also have to cauterize yourself to survive. I think about this whenever I see an unhoused person, or the people on here from Gaza asking for help. The mutual aid requests. None of us are able to help everyone who asks for it, and so we develop callouses.

I tried to talk to the girl in the next apartment in disco, she said I was gross and told me to go away, 0/10 emotional damage put the game down and never looked back

so like.. you can have your user eagerly download the 1m row data set & get delta updates if rows change, but to me this sounds like regular lazy loading but with ?offset=0&limit=1million instead of ?offset=0&limit=100.

neither of those libraries handle partial sync of an infinity of data in a remote table. both require you to partition data ahead of time into a syncable collection, and then your user gets the whole collection. replicache max is 64mb, if you want 1 million rows that’s max of 64 bytes per row

it sounds like the “custom domains” are limited by my wallet
🤔

how do you know what of the infinity of data to make local though? That’s what’s missing. Otherwise it just reads as “make infinity scroll, maybe local cache will make it fast next time”

But wait! You say. The Affordable Care Act says that's illegal!

Yes I know. They did it anyway. So of course I appealed and we won, but again, I AM A LAWYER.

Something you need to learn about laws: they don't prevent illegal acts. They just (sometimes) punish the people who do them.
