Just returned from clearing the snow from the driveway and the road outside on our corner plus a junction further up the drive as we aren't on the gritting route. Just made a nice mug of hot chocolate with a large dark rum in. Bliss! A great way of warming up after being out in the cold. ❄️😋

A most excellent day yesterday in Guide at the annual Christmas Fair. A big thanks to @patronstap.bsky.social and Guide Social Club plus King Edward V11 pub for hosting and organising such a wonderful event. Great atmosphere and good company bringing the community together. 👍🎅🎄

Says a lot that about 90% of the traffic I’m seeing on X right now is absolutely convinced the British govt is about to embark on a mass programme of state murder of the elderly and vulnerable. What was until recently the town square of politics has become the preserve of the bad, mad and deranged.
