Folks in my field note typos in book reviews, across all the languages the book uses, and all I have to say on that is if you want more accurate books then pay us to hire more editors. The idea that someone will single-handedly, with other full-time work, catch everything in a 300pg ms is wild.

I know editors of book reviews and academic journals are also overworked. But just cut petty snark.
