Thank you to @pinchjournal.bsky.social for taking on "Eclipses," a short piece I wrote this past spring and summer, a bit of a foray into the second person, and a bit of a foray into longing and loss. www.pinchjournal.com/blog-posts/e...
Eclipses — PINCH
By Jimmy Kindree That grimace. That sudden laugh. That arch in your eyebrows and another check of the sky. Your dark eyes cringing into wrinkles as if, in that moment, you’d become older than me, an...

Excited to wake up this morning to a flash fiction piece being accepted for publication. Yay! 🌜☀️

Been working on edits for an essay that was accepted recently... it's a very personal piece. Going back into it felt good. This will be my first nonfiction work out there, which is exciting.

Hey #writingcommunity, a submissions etiquette question: if a journal's guidelines do not specify one way or the other, is it acceptable to make submissions in multiple genres (i.e. one short story and one poem collection)?

Slow morning a few days before we travel back home, writing a few poems. I have been having a hard time working on my #fiction recently. I haven't been able to focus. Doing a few #poems has felt more manageable. ❤️ #poetry

Thank you to @oysterriverpages.bsky.social for publishing my flash fiction piece, "Summer Light." The final line of this story came to me on a long walk, funnily enough, during the winter. So grateful it is out there in the world now. ☀️ 🥣 👩‍❤️‍👩 🏳️‍🌈 🏮 🍨 🎨 🌱 ☀️ www.oysterriverpages.com/fiction-72/2...

I've been having a lot of trouble lately keeping focused. I'm working on resetting my writing habit, daily writing in the morning. Anyone have tips for keeping going? What helps you really focus on your writing and move towards your goals? #writingcommunity #amwriting✍️🤷

#WritingCommunity, how do you handle your subscriptions to newsletters/substacks? I've subscribed to so many that there's no way I can reasonably engage with them and I am wading through content that is probably great but I don't have space for. I've started unsubscribing... how do you handle this?

I had two LitMag acceptances yesterday! A flash piece I feel really close to, that I'm so glad has a home, and my first ever acceptance for a poem, in a journal I never expected to be published in. Feeling good, and feeling glad I'm persevering. 📝❤️ #amwriting #writingcommunity
