While idly playing with Google street view, I decided to look at my old family home in earlier years. And there's my Mum hanging out washing in 2009. She passed away in 2012. I have lots of photos of her, but this was unexpected and....🥺

Had a colonoscopy on Sunday (thanks NHS!). They asked if I wanted sedation (you'll be out of action for 24 hours) or entonox (you'll be ok afterwards, but no alcohol for 24 hours). Or just grit your teeth. Reader, I gritted my teeth. 🍻

Got back from a football related trip to Scotland yesterday. Couldn't resist bringing this beauty back.

We're in Copenhagen today and also went on a canal boat tour. Am absolutely loving this city. The weather today has probably helped 😎

Just rewatched Solaris (1972, Tarkovsky) for the first time in decades. The Sci-Fi stuff is a bit clunky. The director isn't comfortable in a spaceship, but he's on familiar ground in the central relationship, which hits hard. A moving study of unresolved pain, guilt and its lingering effects. 📽️
