Incumbent parties will always control ballots. It’s the way the system is set up. If you want things to change, force the parties to change. Focus on electing new people into the Democratic Party.

I think the system is set up for 2 parties, unlike a a parliamentary system that allows for many parties.

Republicans have wanted to take away social safety nets and healthcare for as long as I can remember. This isn’t because they’re afraid of Donald Trump, it’s because they’re shitty humans bought and paid for by corporations and billionaires.

Why don’t they let this lawsuit go to court? They will win. If Trump tries to block their merger, can’t they claim they are being extorted?

I have a brother that lives in rural Montana that is completely disconnected from reality. He was never into politics before Trump but is a die hard supporter. He and his buddies are the ones that will not tolerate war. They hate the war hawks and neocons of the past and war reminds them of that.

The Trump supporters I know won’t tolerate war. Strangely, that’s their hard line.

Establishment politics will never let someone with Progressive ideas or solutions win an election if they can help it. They like the current power structure. If the people see & experience a better way to live, the establishment risks extinction.

Rural America is being inundated with propaganda. They don’t have enough of a connection outside of their bubble to know what they are being told is false. My MIL lived in rural VA and truly believed NYC was a very dangerous place and that immigrants were killing people there.
