"Let me be clear: The president has both the funding and the authority to fund SNAP during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.”

The fact that Matthew Dowd lost his job for pointing out Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, while Brian Kilmeade openly suggests we should euthanize the homeless and there is zero outrage, shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

Oooh. Can’t blame the left so…scramble, scramble, scramble, deflect, deflect, deflect…then just lie. Isn’t that the pattern?

If there's a hell, it will be filled with people who claimed faith in Jesus, while trying to strip the sick of care, the terrified of refuge, and the vulnerable of protection, and reveled in it as if it were a righteous victory.

Republican Christians Make Me Hope Hell Exists
As a child raised in the Catholic Church, I was brought up believing that hell was real, though as I got older, I began to grow skeptical.

I live in a little town of 18,000 in DEEP RED western KY. We had 250 people show up today to defend our country and our constitution from authoritarianism!

Newsom: "The notion that the US active duty Marines, these heroes, would be used to militarized the streets of an American city is an abomination. The Founding Fathers did not live and die to see that happen in this country for no reason whatsoever than vanity."

ICE terrorizes our communities. People protest, and now Trump is sending 2,000 National Guard troops into Los Angeles. This is how martial law begins in the so-called land of the free.

They were careless people, Tom and Daisy- they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.

I have said this repeatedly- and I am a Kentuckian (who NEVER voted for him). This whole mess can be laid right at his feet. He is responsible.
You are pathetic Mitch.

I watched 1000 hours of basketball this weekend. My Wildcats are in the Sweet 16. Then, I discovered on Monday morning, that HE is still president (in a roundabout way) and we’re even more
f—-ed than we were before the tournament began. Somebody play something with a ball, QUICKLY!!

I’ve been following politics for many, many years. I even have a Pol Sci minor. I’ve won votes and lost votes. Politics has always been contentious. But this is not that. It’s mean and hateful and evil. It’s malicious. It’s win-at-all-costs. It’s hard to stay in the fight.

Kendrick Lamar's Superbowl performance is why funding arts and humanities matters. We have Kendrick because his teacher introduced him to poetry and writing.

Ok, y’all. I’m going to have to do a better job of “riding out” the next two years. I got in to a couple of arguments today that have me all riled up and I need to calm down. 1. I can’t and won’t back down but 2. I can’t argue with those people either. What a waste of energy! #fascistsaredumb

For Monday’s “festivities”, which is better: tv off or tv on some random cable channel?

Question: one of the comments I keep hearing about the loss, is that the Dems supposedly lost because all the supporters were “smart people” and/or college educated. If the SMART PEOPLE aren’t in charge, you get the whackadoodles like Hegseth. What am I missing?

Tonight is my first time watching MSNBC since Nov 5. I was just too…wounded. Too disillusioned and disappointed. Now I’m back. Ready to resist. Ready to fight for my country. No one is going to usurp my faith or my patriotism. A 68 y/o blue dot grandmother. Bring it.
