Stop saying they’re “coequal branches.”

No branch wields more power than Congress.

All it has to do is decide to use it.

It better happen. Whatever this is. Better happen.
Trump is weakened and Murdoch and other Republicans are sharpening the knives, folks.

It's all happening this week.

Vance met with Murdoch. WSJ drops 2 bombshell Epstein articles. Fox published Ned Price's piece.

Julius Caesar time is sooner than people think.

Pretty damn remarkable. But not in a good way.

Accidentally moving the fuel cutoff switches to CUTOFF is a very…odd thing to do.

Hate to say it but this appears very deliberate.

I really think the attacks on Zohran are going to backfire tremendously with normal people. The appalling racism and Islamophobia will work for people who are racist and bigoted. But the primary vote was a rejection of these tactics, and I don’t believe doubling down will work

Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill appears to close three (3) FAA ARTCC facilities.

These are high altitude facilities that ensure separation of predominately cruise aircraft and any underlying arrival/departure traffic.

I am amazed at the short sightedness of Trump’s FAA and DOT.

Rough day. Heart goes out to all those impacted by #AI171 Air India 171 crash.

What I take away from it so far is this:

They didn’t stop flying the plane. To crash wings level, in that energy state, is a testament to the crew’s dedication to the fight.

Some extremely despicable and disgusting behavior.
I'm not keen to fully swear off any airline, but Avelo's calculation here that the deportation flights will backfill lost scheduled service is an interesting one.

Definitely reduces the odds I'll be booking anytime soon.

Perhaps FAs or pilots will be sick more often than usual.

Ah, the FAA experiment of harming labor by moving controllers from Long Island to Philly, putting extra stress on telecommunication networks, thereby undermining operational integrity for airlines operating at EWR continues to show just how bad of a decision it was.

I'll say it again: in a country where due process is individually denied and then broadly eroded and eventually eliminated, being a citizen will not protect you from the terror of this administration.

The divergence here from two companies with *very* similar customer bases is pretty wild, you do not see this sort of thing happen at scale very often.
Target suffers 10th consecutive week of foot traffic declines, sinking stock prices since caving on DEI
Costco, which resisted pressure to ditch DEI, extends foot-traffic gains streak to 15.

Why build loyalty with Hertz if that loyalty doesn’t mean much when you visit a branch/airport that treats all levels of customer as the same.

Jacksonville airport Hertz funneling all clients to the desk when some of us already know what car, spot, etc. is insane.

Just have the keys in the car.

So who wants to tell me how bad the road construction is at JFK?

Flying out of there on Saturday and am considering driving (due to baggage needs, would love to use transit but just not feasible).

This is wild. I don’t fly on @americanair.bsky.social choice if I can avoid it.

This is not a normal recline for an economy seat.

Regardless, quick trip to my most hated airport (can you guess it?) so I’m going to try a nap and hope I wake up without this pax and their collapse seat in my lap.

Recession fears abound…

Created by Trump after campaigning about Biden’s poor economy…that wasn’t poor at all.

The self-fulfilling prophecy of Republican doom presents itself again, like clockwork.

No wonder he had to cook the books to get loans.

And it is *hightly* unlikely that anyone wants to come out of retirement to work an incredibly stressful job with mandatory overtime, operating under the thumb of that schmuck.
ATC shortages have been a thing forever! That said: You generally can't just un-retire under the current rules, there's a mandatory retirement age
Gee I wonder why there’s a shortage of air traffic controllers

Where everyone in your country feels threatened, most especially people in high stress environments, the very distraction causing the stress can lead to an increase in errors.

But, of course a tech bro & a failed business real estate mogul don’t quite understand complex systems.
