One of my favorite photos from the weekend: wedding photo of me with Foxi, The tutu wearing, official ring bearer dog

Some other nice photos from the wedding including my kids with their bubble blowers, the fire dancing show, and the drum show which was kind of like the blue man group.

Just got back from Cancun Mexico. Had to fly down for a family wedding this past weekend, got back last night. Pretty smooth travel overall except for a couple blips & airport snafus. Missed our train home from Chicago but rented a car. A few highlights below from our brief stay.

A pro wrestling league bought an abandoned church in my town and holds wrestling events. Sadly haven't been to one yet (there's always a conflicting event due to our busy weekend schedules) but it looks awesome, especially the balcony seats up above the ring and stained glass windows!

Pulled into the parking lot at work today and did a double take when I looked over and saw this sitting in the car next to me!

Ooh good one.
Who’s your sitcom mom Mount Rushmore?
Off the top of my head. I'm going with these. Though I probably forgot one and will change my mind:

Almost through Book 5 (The Butcher's Masquerade), of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series!

It reminds me of a fight I once saw break out in a bowling alley parking lot in college, after a late night cosmic bowling event. One guy, swear to God, ran to his truck to get an old flimsy piece of 70s wood paneling (like from Grandpa's basement) & wave it around. I almost died laughing.

Awful football game, 21-0 like immediately so finally decided to watch Weapons w/ my wife. Pretty good movie, not great. Mostly enjoyed it, kinda slow at times, not really my favorite horror movie I've watched this year or even lately. Not really getting the "horror masterpiece" talk, I guess?

Ghost with the most, babe

So here's what my son came up w/ for a 6-7 costume. I was pretty skeptical he could make it into a viable costume, but have to say it was a big hit at school & walking around town last night on beggars night. Every kid that saw it, even very young/small ones, yelled 67! And did a little dance move.

Here's Crack o' lantern (made from crackers) my wife sent me in case you've never seen one either!

These! They came in all sorts of random increments too.
(This one's actually 17.6 lb)

So we got our Corgi a sandworm costume to go with our Beetlejuice costumes. I wouldn't say she's thrilled with it but seems to tolerate it for a while!

I had a little more time. I made this fiend

Yep literally was just posting about this at the same time! I did like the boat scenes, it was creepy how he stalked people around the boat. I also really enjoyed Jason X more than most it seems. When he emerges as some sort of cyborg Jason is one of my favorite scenes in the series.

I rewatched all Friday the 13th movies the past couple weeks, including the original through Jason X, Freddy vs. Jason, & the 2009 remake. Still trying to come up with my final rankings of all the films, but I know Part II (creepy!) and Part VI (prob the best scene, below) are my faves of the bunch!

What was your first horror movie?

If you count it as horror, Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein (and other classic Universal horror films). 🧛‍♂️

Other than that, probably House, around age 11? (Another sort of horror comedy)

Had some Kind of good jump scares though I think my wife was pretending and playing it up a bit in this one:

Great time at StL FrightFest! We felt like we were among our people, the creepy, the kooky, the mysterious and spooky, and the altogether ooky.

Here's my son enjoying a blood bag drink, which is just cherry lemonade, from the blood bank vampire lounge.

Been meaning to tell folks, if you're still in the market for a groundbreaking skeleton for Halloween, Walgreens has one on clearance for under 100 bucks! It's a bit smaller than mine, 3ft tall rather than about 4.5 feet
