Today I learned that folks in England planted a special rose during/after WW2 to signify a hope for peace - the “Enchanted Peace Rose” - wishing you all a peaceful transition into this new era, together we will make it through 🌸

July 4th has never resonated. Too many people remained unfree after the U.S. declared independence & too many would be made unfree as a result of that declaration. Today, as so many devastatingly harmful policies unfold, charting a course towards freedom is unfinished work that depends on us.

The White House basically gave Boasberg no choice. And unless they start cooperating very quickly, possibly even if they do, they’re looking at criminal contempt like a freight train. That’s going to raise some tricky issues of penalty, but the underlying finding should be secure. What total jerks.
