The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

Imagine if the guy trying to overthrow the government actually knew how it worked. The House impeaches with a simple majority and the Senate convicts with 67. Which is to say, it’s not happening.

The secretary of transportation went on Fox & Friends this morning and trashed air travel, portraying the current air traffic control system as a disaster, and then claimed taking public transit is "dangerous."

I miss the DEI days when it was safe to travel.

Its been assumed that only men were scribes before the advent of the printing press in the 15th century. New research (N=24K; 800-1626C.E.) finds 1.1% were written by female scribes, inferring that 110,000 manuscripts were made by women in medieval times.

So did Trump rescue that Ukrainian army that he claimed was surrounded by Russian forces yesterday, and said they would all be dead already if he didn’t intervene to save them? Any update on that? Did Trump save the day?

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.

🚨 NEW: Trump is golfing yet again.

54 days in office, 14 days on the course—wasting 26% of his presidency (and your tax dollars) on tee time.

For comparison:
➡️ Biden first golfed on day 87
➡️ Obama? Zero rounds in his first 56 days

Trump remains the undisputed laziest president of all time.
