I’m in a talk about “protecting data with culture and technology” the presenter just dropped this gem. “The purpose of culture is to eliminate renegotiation”. #security #culture

I’m at a conference today, so of course I have my #nordvpn enabled, before the sessions start again I wanted to quickly give in to my #reddit addiction, but that is not secure according to them.

So one of the devs in my team just added “praise” as a positive ending to the stop, start, continue board we use for our retro’s… he’s not here on bluesky, but thanks anyway 🙏 amazing to end on a positive note!

How did I miss the release of the 3rd season of the wheel of time!!! Episode 2 just started, I love it but simultaneously think the purists have much to complain about story deviations;) #wheeloftime

@ylechelle.bsky.social really enjoyed your contribution to the innovation talk and arguments about openness. Lots of things to think about. #inseadforum

I still find it very very very annoying and not user friendly that I need powershell to change some arbitrary settings in Office365. Luckily I found out today that since end of January powershell is finally available for mac 🎉

Meta doesn’t want you to read this book. Be a shame if you accidentally ended up with a copy somehow.
Currently, she is barred from promoting the book, but her publisher can still sell ut. Wouldn't it be fun if we all bought a copy?

When #customersupport is just a semi automated template which doesn’t address your literal question because it doesn’t fit the template it really isn’t customer support

What surprises me the most is that this doesn’t get more attention, might also be my social media usage ;)

Firefox decided to sell user data by updating its ToS... I guess old saying is true: You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain

Last week I went to a Dutch themapark, the #efteling, and went into their latest ride #dancemacabre. Besides the ride and theming being amazing and honoring the rides’ predecessor, it was also the first time people started applauding when it was done

So, I haven’t been coding for quite a while so didn’t try generating code with AI that much yet, but I just had my first encounter with AI generated totally wrong - non functioning code that seemed to work. Truth be told, I totally believed ChatGPTs answer and stopped thinking critically.

More “weird” behaviour in #quicksight. Unfortunately I haven’t figured out a way around this yet. I have a date which I convert to another timezone with a calculated field in the dataset, this works perfectly, but as soon as I publish and analyse it, the dates are the same again

Another day, another #quicksight feature request :) It would be amazing if labels could be changed, I have quite a few technical / calculated fields but those have names that are not readeable for the consumer of the final dashboard
