AI can't do that. It can't understand the words or the characters it's "voicing." It can't understand your intent and has no intent of its own. You need a real actor to do this.

In hindsight, it's honestly funny that, if anyone looking at my character had 1) noticed the second detail and 2) actually given it thought (both of which I find unlikely), the conclusion they might've reached could well have been "Ah, a Mormon!" rather than "Eh, he'll figure it out eventually."

Related: the only way I could tolerate playing the character model I thought I "had" to use in [giant MMO] given my assigned gender was by

1. Playing a fantasy race that "wasn't attractive"
2. Always having my character wear a Shirt item so any bikini armor she acquired wasn't truly bikini armor. 😆

I was gonna say "This feels like it could be an 'Ace Attorney' character name," then started laughing because "Fig Newtons" fits that category as well...

…knowing things isn't the issue there. That's OK! No one knows everything, and that's *beautiful*, because it means none of us are done learning!

The issue arises when there are profound gaps in proficiency, a person actively chooses not to resolve them…and then asks for other people's trust and $.

Interestingly, this is how you can sometimes find people *teaching* their discipline
- With an outdated baseline (e.g. "I started 30 years ago; it can't have changed that much!")
- With no baseline at all (e.g. folks trying to reinvent the wheel without realizing the wealth of tools available)

While I sometimes quibble with how things like "fixed vs. growth mindset" are framed, it baffles me when people are wholly incurious about the world and people around them—not because they're overwhelmed or prefer to be private with those efforts, but because they think it no longer "benefits" them.
