"It's official: Poverty got worse under Biden" citing a report that shows the opposite.
They are using a supplement measure of post pandemic programs expiring after 2022, then negatively compare it to the 2019 economy when the programs didn't exist

It's not just that which is dishonest. Jacobin doesn't state their version of "it's official" isn't what the Census Bureau version says. They're using the supplementary model including pandemic programs expiring .... but then later compares it to negatively to 2019 when none of those stuff existed

1) Headlining the article "It's Official" when the source they are taking from has an Official measure contradicting their claim

The fact their headline begins with "It's Official" when there is an Official rate to measure poverty and it went down under Biden to pre-pandemic level is one of the most dishonest things I've seen from Jacobin. And there's plenty of other examples from them

That number is obviously way too high as well. But there is an "official" measure that the Census Bureau uses and has used since the 1960s and it is not as Jacobin says.

There is actually an Official figure in the Census Bureau of the amount of people in poverty in 2024: It is 9 million fewer people than what Jacobin is saying in the first paragraph of this article.

He literally said no on striking Iran when Israel asked multiple times. To the point Trump said on the trail they should wait for him to be elected or do it on their own before the election. Trump was the only figure of the three calling to bomb Iran in 2024 and he has gone and done it.

I think a more accurate depiction with El Salvador would be the Apartheid South African regime as I don't think contemporary leftists opposed making that regime a pariah in a method to take it down. The idea of sanctions being the wrong method as punitive punishment was a Reagan belief
