Today I learned that the key to bypassing the anxiety that usually stops me from reaching out to new people at work is them joining a meeting I'm in with a cat on their lap, at which point I will apparently reflexively message "that is an extremely good cat" with no context and feel fine about it

It's taking so much self-control, but I'm trying to do this properly and play it the "right" way. This game is so extremely my shit, though. We (episodic choice-based narrative adventures) are so back.
Truly such a strange game. It has a weird magic to it, and some of the best character animations I've seen in ages - I just wish it felt a little less fiddly to play and we could have had a masterpiece on our hands.

Everyone should know that this is all I want from games at all points in time. Give me roaming herds of horses with whom I can gleefully gallop across grassy fields. I cannot express how much joy it brought me. Would roam with the herd again.
In case anyone wanted the @jesszam.bsky.social review of Ghost of Yotei, I showed her she could ride her horse with roaming groups of wild horses and she spent about 30 minutes just doing that in pure delight. No need for anything else, that’s the whole game to her.
