So, I purposefully stayed away from BlueSky for a month. My hope was that in the time intervening, the site would shrug off the thick and vile mantle of hate and return to a busy hive of thoughtful discourse. No such luck. People here are stewing in boiling hatred.

However, I have been an avid student of the US Government since my naturalization experience 40 years ago.
That said, this pardon is the single-most likely event to trigger a constitutional crisis in my lifetime

Let’s look forward: if I were AOC and Fetterman, I would come out against this action is the strongest possible language and accompany it with the announcement of a Center-Left People’s Movement (avoid the word “party”) divorced from the DNC. MAGA is a movement. Both parties are dead.

If you think this all a bit unfair on Gregg, then find your wife/GF/Sister/Mum and ask if they think it’s acceptable for you/their partner to make a comment about your bedroom activities to a woman you/they have just met at work….even if the work girl is a middle class woman of a certain age.
