My mother had a giant cardboard box and I have MS Paint and BOOM, just like that we have our Xmas cards lol.
One day I'll have real photo editing software to make things pretty, but it doesn't totally suck so I'm happy with it.

Ignore the surroundings, I'm getting there, but the tree is up, and Gwdihŵ has reclaimed their perch to see us through the season. The kids are excited to cover it in all their ornaments, but I always like to take a moment with it just the way it is.

Feeling a bit ridiculous all dressed up for the wedding but I suppose needs must. It's the first time I've worn a bra in I couldn't say how long and it feels like a very weak person is trying to crack my ribs.

Woke up at 5am after hardly getting any sleep to Mr. Winston in my face and ready to start the day. Sir Lloyd (not pictured) was angry at me after refusing to come in last night and climbing a tree to avoid me, that I had in fact left him outside, and voiced his displeasure for about an hour.

I failed Algebra THREE times in high school before being pity passed to graduate.
I left college and did not go back for 15 YEARS because I could not pass remedial math.
This is my current Algebra grade. I'm not actually stupid, I just finally found a professor I understand.

My Stepmother had a heart attack last night. We have never seen eye to eye and don't have a great relationship, but I've known her since I was 2. My brother and sister and their kids must be so upset right now, not to mention my dad. Complicated feelings aside, I hope she recovers soon.

Just got home from Oktoberfest. My eldest Heaten came in 3rd in the Pretzel eating contest, and all 3 of mine plus my nephew made it through the Stein contest. Middlest technically didn't as his arm was bent and started shaking with about 1 min to go but they gave him a prize anyway.

Spent most of the day at my moms house so the kids could play on the bounce house. A friend of hers started a business renting them out and gooked her up. I did not bounce obviously, but it was fun seeing the kids so excited

We don't do the Elf on the shelf because we don't invite fae into our home, and also, Snitches get Stitches but we do have Fergus, the 8ft skeleton that holds our things by the door until October when he gets to move about. Day 1 done, Day 2 ready 🎃
