My mother had a giant cardboard box and I have MS Paint and BOOM, just like that we have our Xmas cards lol.
One day I'll have real photo editing software to make things pretty, but it doesn't totally suck so I'm happy with it.

Ignore the surroundings, I'm getting there, but the tree is up, and Gwdihŵ has reclaimed their perch to see us through the season. The kids are excited to cover it in all their ornaments, but I always like to take a moment with it just the way it is.

Feeling a bit ridiculous all dressed up for the wedding but I suppose needs must. It's the first time I've worn a bra in I couldn't say how long and it feels like a very weak person is trying to crack my ribs.

Lloyd either senses that I am allergic and plans to kill me slowly, or he genuinely loves me and wants to show his affection. Either way he keeps shoving his head in my face and insisting on chin skritches while he stands on my shoulder like when he was a kitten. I cannot breathe either way.

Had to come home for extra allergy meds. I don't mind pet sitting when my mom is out of town but Lord have mercy that cat allergy is relentless.

Woke up at 5am after hardly getting any sleep to Mr. Winston in my face and ready to start the day. Sir Lloyd (not pictured) was angry at me after refusing to come in last night and climbing a tree to avoid me, that I had in fact left him outside, and voiced his displeasure for about an hour.

Woke up at 5am after hardly getting any sleep to Mr. Winston in my face and ready to start the day. Sir Lloyd (not pictured) was angry at me after refusing to come in last night and climbing a tree to avoid me, that I had in fact left him outside, and voiced his displeasure for about an hour.

Turns out I'm PROBABLY fine and the swelling should go down in a few days and it'll all be good. If I don't get my range of motion back/things worsen/pain is persistent by the weekend I can go to the ER. But so far it's just a big boo boo.
So I had a car lift gate slammed down on my shoulder area earlier (on accident. I had pulled my walker out & they thought I had stepped further away). I've taken meds but there is radiating pain up my neck/into my jaw/ down my spine.
I guess I'm just wondering if this is worth another medical bill.

Out local Taco Casa (not all of them just this one as far as I can find) is offering free kids meals daily for anyone who isn't receiving SNAP because of the shutdown so yes I hate it here but it's nice to be reminded not everyone is terrible.
