That’s the thing about abusers. They keep changing the rules so you never know what is or is not going to get you into trouble. That’s how they establish more power and control - through constant fear.

Because Donald Trump is our Abuser-in-Chief.
BREAKING: Education Department workers were placed on leave after attending a diversity training they were encouraged to take during President Trump’s first term, union says, a union official told NBC News.

California DOE fires back against Trump's executive order:

"It does nothing"

"It is against federal law for the White House to dictate what educators can and cannot teach"

Will not comply.

Donald Trump has just released a national under 18 trans care ban executive order. I am working through specifically how it tries to do this, and will live tweet here section by section as I read through it.

It is not yet on the website, but has been released via press release.

Thank you for the tip but, ow, this is so bananapants my brain hurts.
I strongly encourage you to read this op-ed by Peter Thiel. He is considered the true brain of the Paypal mafia.

The incoherence, paranoia & self-absorption, the meandering, impenetrable prose, the paper-thin thesis & logic…
These are the men who want to run the world.

I taught incarcerated firefighters who worked for criminally low wages. It's considered the best job in the prison, because you get to go out, do something valuable, and eat real food. It's also wildly dangerous, and they are given the worst jobs...literally pulling remains out of charred homes.
These teenagers and young men — 95% of whom are Black, Latinx, or Filipino — earn between $2.20 and $4 per hour, plus an additional $1 an hour when they’re actively fighting fires, according to the DJJ. ⤵️

NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.

Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.
