Took my MIL to a doc appointment in Philly. We were not able to use the usual door to the long corridor which is easier footing for her. Stopped by security and escorted to the front entrance with another guard and what I thought was a metal detector. (1/2)

One thing I believe folks continue to underestimate is the toll Climate Change is having and will continue to have on in-person gatherings. This is another reason why abandoning digital spaces is not the move.
