The political betting thing in particular makes me so mad.
I don't know how many professional political people are trying to move conversations in certain directions so they can make bank but it is not a small amount. Those people are scum.

Yep. At a certain level, journalism is more or less bifurcated between people who constantly exist on the precipice of professional oblivion and those who enjoy total impunity.
