I just need to put this out there since I don’t know anyone else who is watching, but I just finished season 3 of Foundation on AppleTV and it gave me whiplash in the best way. Also season 4 is out tomorrow, right?

I really wish there was grieving leave for pets, I’d settle for a day or even a half day, just for jobs to recognize losing a pet is just as hard as a person

I have been very remiss in updating here, but sadly, we had to say goodbye to Bruno tonight. The vets think he had a stroke which caused his bladder sphincter to basically get stuck. It’s never an easy decision to make but it was the best one in this situation.

Bruno is home and has calmed down and acting much more like himself after being in the hospital, but still no pee :( so we are probably going to have to take him back

Update: Bruno is home but not out of the woods yet, since he still can’t pee. They think he may be having stress issues and are hoping that being somewhere familiar will help. They were worried he wasn’t eating in the hospital but he’s been chowing down since he got home, so that’s good.

Poor Bruno is still at the hospital and they had to put the catheter back in because he can’t pee on his own yet. Seems he has a stubborn infection. Thankfully we were able to give him a visit with lots of cuddles and pets.

Update on Bruno: still at the vets, they said he’s stable and eating a little, but he still has his catheter in, so once that is out, it will be 12-24 hours before he can come home.

One of our poor babies had to go to the emergency vet yesterday for a urinary blockage. Thankfully, he’s okay and they were able to get him cleared up, but it’s a huge expense. Any help is appreciated to help lighten the financial burden.
