I have been very remiss in updating here, but sadly, we had to say goodbye to Bruno tonight. The vets think he had a stroke which caused his bladder sphincter to basically get stuck. It’s never an easy decision to make but it was the best one in this situation.

Bruno is home and has calmed down and acting much more like himself after being in the hospital, but still no pee :( so we are probably going to have to take him back

Poor Bruno is still at the hospital and they had to put the catheter back in because he can’t pee on his own yet. Seems he has a stubborn infection. Thankfully we were able to give him a visit with lots of cuddles and pets.

The two universities in my city, UNT and TWU, receive 9 million in NIH funding just on their own. there is another university there in the congressional district that gets funds but they only use 200K (not in image due to my district being gerrymandered to include the entire Texas panhandle)
