Canada’s anti-greenwashing rules protect our health, but they’re under threat.

Send a message to Ottawa: don’t give fossil fuel companies the license to lie to us. Choose truth, health and transparency instead.

I agree. The meme was disgusting. The Sec of “War” needs to apologize. And face up to criminal charges.
A Canadian publisher has called out the United States for using the image of a children's book character to brag about murdering unarmed people in international waters.
This is a decrepit gangster state.
This is the world of Donald Trump.
This is demonic.

really frustrating that we are talking about crime and "catch and release" bail nationally and literally nobody in that conversation means that you can just get away with attempting to kill someone with your car
In a stunning display of prosecutor and police indifference (at best) to violence perpetrated against people on bikes, the driver that ran our client off the road on Sydenham Hill in May 2024 has escaped any real penalty.

Despite overwhelming evidence that a crash occurred and that the Defendant exhibited concerning anti-cyclist attitudes, prosecutors in Hamilton took a plea deal. Are you all even lawyers? This is infuriating stuff and should leave many in the Hamitlon community with questions and concerns.

he's right! It directly fosters extremism.
It's time to talk about income inequality in Canada. We can't build a truly democratic nation when so many people are relying on food banks and can't afford where they live.
Inequality is a breeding ground for extremist ideologies.

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Bill 56 treats safety like a nuisance.
Communities know it’s an investment that pays us back in fewer crashes, fuller lives, lower costs.
Cutting safety isn’t saving money.
It’s spending lives.

Safety shouldn’t depend on your mode of travel, ability or your income.

Youth, seniors, people with disabilities and lower incomes often rely on sidewalks, bike lanes, and transit stops.

Deferring these projects to save on property tax is deferring their right to safety

In the Canadian war cemetery at Ravenna in Italy there are so many Canadian and Sikh graves. The Sikhs were side by side with the Canadians in the brutal battles through Italy.
They have served with valour in our armed forces.

The prime minister has been conspicuously quiet about an issue that seemed to define his politics before he entered the partisan arena. That needs to change.
